Hi guys. My 1100 GPZ takes at least 3 min to warm up with the choke half way up, when it reaches to temp the RPM increaces until I turn the throttle or flick the choke back down.
If I were to ride the bike without warming it up the engine it would bog down when I give it gas/thrttle. this would foul and damp the plugs with gas.
I was wondering if I were to use a DYNA COIL 3 OHM if it would fix this morning start up problem and fix the fouling plugs.
thanks

Since the Mikuni BS34 carbs on that model do not have an accelerator pump how does the plugs get fouled when you turn the "choke" off and ride It before it warms up.. Are the plugs actually fouling out and failing to fire?
On mine on the first start of the day I turn the choke on and when the bike fires up I turn the choke and off and ride it. Yes it carburates likes shit until it is warmed up but usually does so only for a few minutes. You cannot expect fuel injection performance from carburators. No a Dyna ignition will not fix your issue, your bike already has electronic ignition.

Here are some pictures of what coulor the plugs are. The bike has been sitting for almost 2 weeks so they are not wet.

i would check the temp.sensor and the T.P.S..you might have to clean the T.P.S. and readjust.

I clean the plugs by sodar blast them. install and start with choke/''the fast idle '' when @ operating temporature the idle increaces to 1500 rpm this is where I flip the lever down/off.
At this point the plugs will be black and wet.
the pictures below showes fresh plugs one morning start and a half hour ride.

I took the bike out again today so the pictures below will show a second morning start and a half hour drive,

Not fouled. Too lean and or no spark.

It will seem the condition did clear up a bit from last year I should have given you guys the history on this bike. I did an engine job almost 2 years ago and to this day I cant get the engine to idle correctly. The picturs below was from last year when I had no clue why the engine would hot fire up due to fouling plugs
The picturs I am posting of the plugs above are not the true colour they are truly black and the white electrode is brownish red. here are some pictures of what it used to look like last year.

What you're looking for is a peanut butter color. Looks like you're burning a little oil. Not fouled. Check for vacuum leaks for the idle problem.
