So I have one of these.

When I was hooking it up, I noticed that the light bulb fell into the casing. Anyone else have one of these? If so, any possible way to get it opened up? I hope it wasn't money thrown away. But now I'm at work and will think this over for the next 5 hours.

Ideas?

Did you pull the bulb socket out of the housing yet to try to get the bulb out?

Right! LOL I've had that happen and I took the speedo off the mount and just kept flipping the instrument over and over and over and eventually got the little bulb back to the hole. It just popped right out.

Seems like there should be some way to change the bulb. Otherwise, the unit's a $50 throwaway when the bulb burns out.

Alright alright... everyone can breathe easy now. After a long day at work, a few cups of coffee, and pancakes, eggs, and sausage, i came home and got the speedometer sorted out. It took patience, a tiny, magnetic screw driver and tweezers to get it out.

Happy with the results.

Bounty, the bulbs can be switch just like any other speedo bulb. Hopefully it's more accurate than the stock one.

Matching tach for my bike. Before I order.. this is correct, right? PO gutted the tach off the bike. Still correcting some "mistakes" I've found and/or uncovered.
