Left side of bike. I am not good at electrical or diagrams. I have the woring diagram and that confused me more.

The loose White with Red stripe wire, needs to be in the same place as the connected one, as this is the power supply to the battery. With it disconnected, the battery will not be charged, and the engine will die.
