Glad to hear it works! I don't mean to say the $9 caps are no good. If they work, run 'em. I actually mount two of them next to each other and only run one of them. If the cap goes bad, I just swap the wires over to the spare.
If you do go to an electronic ignition, I'd recommend converting to a kaw electronic system instead of the Dyna S. The Kaw system is way more efficient on electrical power which is important with the cap setup.
Here's a link to my batteryless setup. It shows the circuit I built for automatically shutting the lights off when the motor stops so I don't have to remember to flip the switch everytime I try to start.
