Newbie here- first of all, I'm Sorry if this is a repost but I picked up a 82 KZ750 LTD that crank, but wont start. My neighbor and I managed to start it by spraying carb cleaner directly into the carb. After that, the bike ran fine for a few day. But, there was a gas leak from the low fuel sensor. I took the sensor off and made a plate to cover it with some blue adhesive seal. Here's where I think the problem is. My guess is that when I went and put the plate on, the adhesive wasn't fully dried. After putting everything back on, it fired up with choke off and petcock at reserved. After a few minutes, it started to boggle, then stutter and finally died. Fired it up again and this time, it won't catch. Turn the choke on and it fired right back on. Just like before, it stutter and died. Ever since then, I wasn't able to get it back up. I cleaned the carb and still get the same result. The bike has spark, fresh fuel with seafoam and new plugs/wires. We managed to get it running the other day by spraying carb cleaner in the carb but it won't stay idle. Just die after a few minutes. My neighbor says that it seems like it's thirsty for fuel. Again, I'm a newbie at this so anything will greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Do you have a manual? Use a guitar string to clear the pilots.

Yes, it came with a manual. I'll try the guitar string and see how it goes. Thanks.

You can also use 1 strand from some electrical wiring you have lying around.

A strand from a wire brush will work too.
