Police or MK II ? Engine number mystery

Hi all, I just bought a KZ 1000 engine and it is engine number KZT00AE 112553 . I was told it is MKII engine off a MKII motorcycle. Could it also be a police bike engine? Does anyone have the engine number ranges for the MK IIs? I can't seem to find any info in past treads so please forgive me if this topic has been covered before. Thank you. -A
