And that's an impressive looking weld. Mine is the same way, 3/4 of the way around the pins. Truly beautiful workmanship from a top notch guy.

He's been around forever and used to rebuild KZ cranks all the time when they were the hottest thing on the strip. He says he can weld and true for me for $125. I think I'm going to do that.
