nope when it gets to the final rider in cali it should be taken up to the corkscrew and lit while on a flag pole and the smoke will rise like a tibbet mountain prayer flag...i got this

I hear talk over at the honda forum that they plan to steal the flag from a rider and use it in their clubhouse bathroom

Keep an eye on the forum. We are trying to put together a rally at 4 corners. Would like to see as many guys there as possible.

Yep, Passport is a most definite. Gone are the simple days of crossing the border.
The Ferry system from Sydney to Friday Harbor, then on through the Islands to Anacortes is great. But it will take some time, if you plan on getting of and sight seeing/ riding etc. If so, the town of Mt Vernon, near I5 could be a meeting spot. Thats about 90 miles N of Seattle.
All in the air at the moment, so Input is appreciated.

Ferries would be a pretty fun way to go, once you get west of Seattle onto the Olympic coast the roads are less busy and more enjoyable.

If you want to stay on land but avoid Seattle and freeways, the roads are pretty good skirting the city to the east, something like this:

Looks to be a Hot and Smokey ride from here to Boise. A lot of the scenery will be in the smoke. At least the morning will be cool.

Everythings a go on my end Motorhead I'm hoping to leave Missoula by 8 a.m.
Unfortunately I didn't get Monday off so I won't be able to take the long way home

Still a "go" here, if your travel plan still includes returning near John Day area, and it's not too late in the day to allow my accompanying you to, and return from, about Prineville back home decently early in the afternoon - I'm not too comfortable in riding in the deer-infested mountains in the dark - we lose a couple of bikers each year from deadly deer encounters...

I'm all loaded up, got on the high-way gears, 16x35. The big motor loves it.

If you have any idea as to time you might hit JD area, you might mention it, and some sort of heads-up as you get in closer would help as well - we have an answering machine, in case we're away from the phone.

Will do. Once I talk to the guys, and see what sort of time frame happens on Sunday. Then I'll know about Monday, and a time for coming through JD. It won't be late that I can tell you. I'll shoot for no later than 3 pm. Hopefully earlier.

I'll be at the cafe by 8:30. I'll be leaving here around 7:45. Trying to find a riding partner but it isn't easy. I'm trying to convince my neighbor to make the ride on his 78 yamaha xs 750.
