Really, I don't have voice mail or a machine, also shows no missed calls. You must be calling the wrong number, I just checked my PM's and my number is correct so you might want to check it. Look at your cell phone, you have a missed call from me at 7:43 pm on the 11th.

You are correct. I missed 2 digits. Unfortunately, the voice mail I reached was the generic "You have reached..." instead of "John Smith is not available.."
O.K.,I'll see if I can do it correctly this evening.

I got the journal today with Koolaid scharging issues he left Les' without it Thanks Les glad you got it out so quick The Flag is in Kentucky at the moment my small mishap will be rectified tomorrow hopefully so looking to head south soon hopefully nashville this weekend

I know your physical health is important but also keep your spirits up, if that means working or riding then do it!

Thanks Les Working and riding are among my top three favorite things and I deffinately want to keep doing all 3 LOL

Actually in Alabama, I brought it on down here with me sine CraZyChris may not be able to join us next Saturday for the hand off in Mississippi.

I was really amazed at how many more Hondas there were than Kawasakis. I guess they are fairly cheap and good candidates for cafe or bobbers.

So is leg 2 just about done? Is leg 3 getting started up?

Leg#2 is nearly complete! As soon as it gets to BlackZ1R we will be ready to pass it to Leg#3, should be next weekend hopefully.

Ok, I officially took the hand off from boatdrinks and ron768 yesterday at Jeff Busby Park in Ms.
It was great to meet you guys. I wish my back would have cooperated and let me camp to make a full weekend ride out of it. What we did get to do was cool as he!!, but a full weekend of KZ riding would have been off the charts!

Here is what I posted in the Leg #2 thread for those that didn't catch it:

Got her done!!! Hand off went smooth as silk, just like we knew it would .
Met boatdrinks & son, and ron768 at Jeff Busby Park on the Natchez Trace parkway this afternoon for the hand off. Weather was nice, a bit cool and overcast, but fine weather for riding.

All my riding buddies(????) left me out in the cold on this ride, but I ended up getting my BIL to ride the 550 with me for the hand off. My son had a class trip to NOLA that we didn't have marked on the calender, so he had a legit excuse!!! For all you other FFs that wussed out, , you just missed a fine ride

ron768 rides a 1978 LTD1000 that he bought in Germany. Bike has close to 150k on it and is a daily ride. Very nice bike.
BlackZ1-R left his Z1-R in the stable and rode his 1978 KZ1000A2 w/57k+ on this ride

Had a great time meeting some good guys that share equal KZ enthusiasm as I have.
Hate I missed out on the camp out, but my back is toast.
Heh, that hot cup of coffee hit the spot and finally got the muscle relaxers to kick in and ease up the back pain for the ride home. Y'all turned around right in time. We went through a slight mist for about two miles and it was clear sailing from there on out. we clocked 252 miles today. The KZ1000 got 42mpg+, and the little 550LTD got a HUGE 62 mpg
