It's not staying as big for long. the 16x3.5 with the 150/80/16 will be swapped for a 17x3.5 inch wheel is being prepped for paint, bearing swapped, and caliper spacer turned up. It will get a big tire treatment, sporting a 130/80/17.

I have plans for a gullwing style top triple that gives me a 25 mm lift for the under slung exhaust in the works... and of course..... some frighn paint. :woohoo:

Yeah Wireman , I mentioned once here my neighbor had a prostreet Kaw with a mickey thompsen street slick on it , that didn't corner well either, went real straight with the front tire off the ground and you didn't need a kickstand.

BTW, I really like the steel with no paint on it, if there was some way you could come up with a uniform brushed pattern, like brushed stainless look and clear it I think that would look awesome, even some kind of silver or somthin similiar to the gears of war 3 Trike PJD built, somethin that just says bare metal, even if its in paint, and given a choice between your bike and that Vrod I'd choose yours hands down.

i appreciate the sentiment.

i'm torn over what to do with the frame. Paint, bare metal with clear powder, bedliner frame, black powder... the list goes on

Found one plug had some epoxy around the threads tried to plug it back in and it let loose  Needs a heli coiled or a new head.... or

popped my fj11/1200 bottom end in and it is about the same length and maybe 2-3 inches wider.

The battery tray i have is holding it back from sitting down all the way in the back...

SOOOOooo.. did some work.

Massaged the kz mounts to mock up the upper front motor mount. Motor fits great up front. The bottom front mounts will need some fabricating. As for the rear lower i can make a bracket that bolts into the old mount and relocates to the fj case.

tank won't fit anymore...looks like i'm getting a new one :D

the header need to be tweaked a little bit to fit the way i want it to, but it will come in time.
I gain (from swapping):
*obvious raise in power
*hydraulic clutch
*mikuni diaphram carbs (throttle response)
*monster torque
*the motor only weighs 25lbs more (wet)
*a better "base" for engine modifications
*Easily windowed clutch cover :D

i am super stoked....AND THAT, is where i stop right now. More updates after i enter the winter build off @customfighters.com :shocker:

icing on the cake

it's off about 3-5mm
but the swingarm was offset to the right for the kz motor anyways.
